My next project is a 1932 colonial in Connecticut. It has many original features, which I will try to stay true too wherever possible.
Some of the things I love about this house are the details in the shutters, the entry, and the floors.
What needs to be addressed as soon as possible is the overgrown landscaping.
The lack of sunshine and poor drainage has caused the roots of most of the trees along the property line to rot and there is a real concern about trees falling on houses. So they have to go.
