HouseHands

The appraisal led to the appraiser deciding that the house needed to have a few things completed prior to valuing the house where we needed it to be and allowing the closing to move ahead. Things the we planned to do the first AFTER we owned the home. Now, I had to negotiate with the seller once again, and bring forward another addendum to ensure that we would be reimbursed if (just in case) we don’t actually close.

Also, I was very upset by the appraiser stopping me and asking what I planned to do with a house so large. Then she said, “A family of four doesn’t needs so much space.”

WTF! Like it’s any of her business. Believe it or not though, I bit my tongue and didn’t respond.

So the second new closing date is . . . October 2, 2014.
